Through the experience of working in Publications I did my first steps as artist. I cultivated my skills and my interests specialising myself in Illustrating tales written for children. I cannot describe my feelings for this! Some people or even children find me and we keep contact. They share drawings of some of my characters and can't wait for the next book! I am very honoured of working professionally in this sector. It is my dream-job and that's why I always try to do the best I can. My passion drives me. I am very grateful by giving me the opportunity to let my self to this route in my life... Being a creative person and especially an artist has a lot of difficulties on its path: competition, anxiety, no stable income ...BUT: It is an honour and a great pleasure to challenge your creative limitations and your imagination!

The last 4 years
Free lance graphic artist and illustrator with specialisation in Children's Book Publishing.
Through this time I have illustrated more than 20 titles for bloggers, authors as well as publishers in Greece and Cyprus. I have collaborated twice creating small animation spots-jingles for the German Embassy in Greece (ref. letter applicable). Some other animations, animatics and gifs also have been created for several clients as well as commissions of fanarts.
Radio Broadcasting- Cultural journalism-volunteer
2006-2016
I grew up in a radio station. My family owns a local radio station in Greece which helped me work on my communication and marketing skills as well as helped me to develop my creativity and my interest in the media production. I was always interesting in the recording process. With my voice and direction there have been created several spots and jingles on behalf of this local radio station. My love though wasn't limited only to the medium of sound. I love the audiovisual production, the animation and film making. From the radio station I gained tons of experience, I was raised in a client-base environment and I had to work and help from a young age to assist my family. Working hard became my rule and this later gave me a great honour. In 2009 I won the frist place on behalf of UNESCO as a young radio-producer nation-wide (Greece) for a cultural broadcasting I did to the international year of Astronomy. 2012-13
A six months internship at the Sierra Studios (greek dub studio for public and private tv channels) as a co-director. Responsible for testing and ensuring that all the recording process with the cast runs smoothly, assisting in the liasing of the text and the lines of the script and casting actors.

Studying the University of Athens one of the greatest Universities in Greece and the capital and birthplace of western theatre I was furnished with theatrical and filming terminology, theories, ideologies and manifests that helped me build my own creative personality. Our course-leader Walter Puchner an Austrian Professor who dedicated his life in studies in folklore and greek history of theatre, was one of the greatest factors and catalisators that ignited my interest in the ''anima'' of the things and finally in ''anima''-tion (making souls) something that supported strongly through his career the great Disney Animator Ollie Johnston. I was always interesting on the ''staging of a production'', for the pre-production until the post production.
During my studies I experiment in almost every single production's stage:
the creating of the costume, the writing of the play, the acting.
In 2013 I won the first place as a firstly appearance of a one-act comedy playwriter panhellenically.
In 2015-16 studying Theatrewissenschaft in the Freie University of Berlin I create a small art book of the characters of the play ''Woyzek'' for the seminar of the ''Dramaturgie'', I got one of the best marks in the class.

In Greece there is no film production and especially animation one which limited my horizons and opportunities in terms of future career. Working in Publications is also very limited because the current financial crisis and the corruption of the medium. As a result of all these I had to take action for my dreams and take a decision. I was about either to go to Germany or to England and that is because I was speaking both of the languages. However in Germany I was rejected from a University because they required a higher level language certification than I had and it would cost me money and time to invest in it. While I got rejected I found about the Msc Course of Computer Animation that was provided by the University of Portsmouth. So I decided to go to the United Kingdom. I passed several examinations and trials until I got accepted. I studied hard to follow the animation's terminology and production. Many times I was believing that I was hitting my limits without being able making it...reaching my expectations... The same was believed also by my professors. However, with the help of my English tutor Martin Hampton who supported me at my academic and writing skills and who saw my creative flair made me believe in myself and fight until the end. My last thesis gained 72 from one of my professors who at the beginning of my journey didn't believe in me. Agreed mark was 68 but it was more than the numbers. It was a success and a result of hard work. There are still tons to learn about animation and the medium I love the most but this makes my journey even more exciting cause after my studies I realise how much I love this and how much I want to invest in this career path in the rest of my life!
